This is my art blog where I post everything I sketch, draw, paint and make. I also have the personal blog fabienneflavia.tumblr.com.
Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
Quick sketch of the demon boar from Princess Mononoke, done with copic markers. Looks a little messy and not nearly as good as I wanted it to be because I was in a hurry (trying to shorten the time I take for sketches, as sketches aren’t supposed to take hours). Oh well!
This morning’s sketches
Some sketches from May
Some recent sketches
girl sketches
Copic marker girls
Bathroom sketch
Furniture sketches from last month. I wasn’t very motivated and didn’t have much time to draw as you might be able to tell (not really my best sketches).
Quick sketch to escape studying Chemistry
Blumenstrauss
Sketch for an assignment for school where we need to pick a word and change its meaning. The original meaning of “Blumenstrauss” is bouquet, but if you literally translate it, “Blume” means flower and “Strauss” means ostrich, so here you go - a flower-ostrich!
Drew some teeth for my friend who had her wisdom teeth taken out. They were supposed to look cute… until I noticed that the line above their eyes looks like a unibrow.
Hair drawings in my sketchbook from March! Sorry I haven’t been posting stuff lately, I’ve been pretty busy with school and went to Amsterdam for the weekend (maybe I’ll post some pictures), so I don’t have any drawing projects going on at the moment. I might start my final drawing project for school soon, though (as soon as I know who my advisor will be and if my project idea is accepted).
Thoughts during a train ride
Here’s a really quick and messy charcoal sketch. I don’t know any techniques and don’t like using charcoal much, but I’m determined to give it another try to improve at least a little bit. I only have charcoal sticks, though, so I’m planning on buying charcoal pencils soon to draw something less sketchy (as you can see, there’s not much detail here).
